YOUNG ADULTS

Young adults at First Baptist Jackson are discovering how much they can grow in their faith as well as make a powerful difference in their workplace and world when they connect with a local church that is both multi-generational and missional. Whether you are in medical school, law school, any graduate-level program, or launching your professional career, our young adult ministry is committed to helping you truly engage in Christ-centered community, walk with you through your spiritual journey, and equip you to become the disciple-maker God created you to be.

CONNECT

D GROUPS. D Groups are the best way for you to grow and to get involved at First Baptist Jackson. These co-ed or gender-specific small groups meet each week for fellowship, prayer, and Bible study. It’s an amazing opportunity to safely discuss issues that are relevant to your life and circumstances. You can choose to attend a specific D Group, or we can help you find one.

WORSHIP SERVICES & GATHERINGS. On Sunday mornings, young adults worship with the whole church family downtown at 10:30 for an engaging time of music, plus powerful Bible teaching from our senior pastor. Then, from Sunday School to other gatherings throughout the week, you have the opportunity to study the Word, eat great food, and have fun with other young adults from all over Jackson in a COVID safe environment!

SERVE

LOCAL. First Baptist Jackson is the place to find amazing ways to invest and to make a difference! Within our church, you can choose from worship ministry, children’s ministry, youth, and media, or even connect with life changing ministries going on every day with our multiple inner city partners. (A short background check is required for working with minors.)

GLOBAL. Missions in every form is the heartbeat of First Baptist Jackson. Our church wants to disciple you and equip you to be sent all over the nation and the world, whether it be for just a week trip or for a lifetime. Even if you can’t always travel, we have a multitude of world-wide mission partners who would love to connect with you right here in our church or through technology as you journey to discover God’s mission calling on your life.
