On the Road Again

Pack and run! That was the message to Joseph from the angel of the Lord. Pack and run! Would you have? By this time Joseph was familiar with the angel of the Lord. God wanted Jesus in Egypt. Jesus fulfilled every prophecy made about the coming Messiah and coming out of Egypt was one of the prophecies. Mary’s and Joseph’s obedience saved His life from Herod and fulfilled a prophecy. Our obedience can save our lives and fulfill God’s plans. Where your journey leads depends on giving God the gift of obedience.

No time to waste, no time to sup, Gotta get packed, gotta get up.
Time is moving right along, A time to fear, A time to be strong.
The Word is finally out, The Word is all the world roundabout.
God’s plan is sure and true, always spot on a life to renew.
Leave what we know for the unknown where we’ll grow,
In His holy grip, never let loose like a rudderless ship.
Return on the King’s victory flight, Singing all night.
Fulfilling the prophecy for all heaven to see.

“. . . an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream saying, ‘Arise and take the Child and His mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you;. . . ” Matthew 2:13-15 (Psalm 121:7-8)

Oh Lord, how magnificent is Your name in all the earth, may we ever be ready to move on Your behalf, giving the gospel feet to reach out within Your plans. Amen
