He Finishes What He Starts

The Mama Duck who laid these eggs nearly took out our curious dog sniffing around her nest. She meant business. Our dog understood that steering clear of her precious eggs was the only option. No more sniffing around what doesn’t belong to you!

Jesus does that for us. Philippians 1:6 reminds us, “Being confident of this, He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ”.”

He guards and protects what He has started in us with His very life. His life for our life. His defense for our flourishing.

Can I remind you that your God breathed life and infused gifts into you? Trust Him to preserve your life as He gives you room to grow. Even in your weakness, your enemy is no match for the One who created you from scratch. He will sustain you in the hidden places and defend you in hard moments. You do not belong to the enemy. You belong to God. He alone started you. He alone will finish you.

Dear Father, Complete what you have started in me. In my weak moments along the way, remind me that you are my protector at every turn. In Jesus name, Amen.
