On April 20, the FBJ Family will spread out around Jackson to serve alongside many of our ministry partners in a variety of projects. Many projects are great opportunities for families to serve together. Make plans to be a part of this day as go out to bring Joy to Jackson.

Service Project Opportunities:

Leavell Woods Park

Baseball in South Jackson

Project Description: Engage in the ongoing upkeep of the park while also partaking in a day of collaboration with local ministries and church partners. Participants will be able to help serve a meal and participate in a baseball clinic.

Mission First

Serve Day

Project Description: Come spend a meaningful day with us at Mission First on Serve Day! We’ll work on minor painting, building, and landscaping projects to support the continuous upkeep of the facilities. 

Hope House of Hospitality

Plant Removal and Flower Bed Renovation

Project Description: Participate in Serve Day at Hope House of Hospitality, where we’ll be dedicated to tasks such as plant removal and flower bed renovation, working to enhance the surroundings for those seeking comfort and support.

Soul City Church

Outdoor Cleanup and Property Care

Project Description: Engage in meaningful service at Soul City Church during Serve Day, where our focus will be on outdoor cleanup and property care, ensuring that the church grounds continue to be a warm, well-kept place for anybody looking for comfort and a sense of community.

First Baptist Jackson

Resource Organization and General Cleanup & Chapel Clean Up

Project Description: We have two projects here at the FBJ campus for Serve Day, where we’ll be organizing resources and undertaking general cleanup tasks, including a focused effort on sprucing up the chapel, ensuring this space remains serene and welcoming for all who gather here.

City Church

Food Prep and Delivery & Building Maintence 

Project Description: Come alongside us at City Church during Serve Day, where we’ll be engaged in vital tasks such as food prep and delivery, as well as essential building maintenance, all aimed at supporting our community and ensuring their facilities are conducive to fellowship and care.

Yard Cleanup at Rice Acres

Project Description: Join us at Buried Treasures during Serve Day, where we’ll be dedicated to yard cleanup at the Rice Acres property, nurturing the beauty of the surroundings and fostering a welcoming environment for all who visit.
