COMMUNICATIONS REQUESTS

Getting ready for an event, activity, or an update for your ministry? Do you need to make an announcement, or have you run out of a printed item and need a reprint? This is your form.

The Communications Request should be submitted eight weeks before the needed date in the case of events (only submit if Communications asks you to submit for an event) or projects needing promotion. If the request is only for design and production, please submit the form at least four weeks in advance.

DO YOU HAVE A GOOD TIMELINE TO HELP ME UNDERSTAND WHAT WORKS BEST?

We have 5 Ps that we work from to develop a timeline. You can see those below and what goes into each one.

PLAN: Weeks 8 to 6

  • Decide how promotion will occur & develop plan
  • Begin necessary design work
  • Develop metrics

PRODUCE: Weeks 6 to 4

  • Finalize promotion plans
  • Print, post, and place materials needed
  • Get all key teams up to speed

PROMOTE: Weeks 4 to 1

  • Get the word out through planned channels
  • Monitor distribution

PUSH: Weeks 1 to 0

  • Last touch for promotion
  • Button up loose ends
  • Enhance promotion if needed

PRAISE: Weeks 0 to -2

  • Celebrate what God did publicly
  • Gather analytics
  • Post mortem using metrics and adjust for future

DO I LOSE PROMOTION TIME IF MY REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS BEFORE MY EVENT?

We want to give you the best four weeks to promote your event or project. When registration deadlines are before your event, we will consider that the Zero Point, and work your timeline from that date.

CAN I SUBMIT MY ACTIVITY MORE THAN EIGHT WEEKS IN ADVANCE?

Yes! If you have your information ready to submit, you do not need to wait. Submit the request form and we will be in touch with you to talk about your project.

WHAT IF I HAVE A LAST MINUTE PROJECT OR EVENT

We understand that last-minute ministry opportunities sometimes come up, and we want to support you in these when possible. If you have an event or project that comes up in less than the eight-week timeline, complete the Communication Request form, and then email Amberly Collins, so we can work quickly to determine how we can help you.

We have multiple channels for sharing your activities, and will discuss with you the best options based on the target audience and nature of your event. Options may include some or all of the following:
