WOMEN ON MISSION (WMU)

More than 18 small groups meet throughout the month. Each has a particular missions emphasis and project. For a list of groups or to learn more about WMU, contact Cindy Townsend at ctownsend@fbcj.org. The First Tuesday Meeting is a joint meeting of all Women on Mission Groups. The first Tuesday of every month, women of all ages meet in Fellowship Hall West for a meal and to hear a speaker. Learn more through FirstBaptistJackson.org/events.

Opportunities for Involvement

In addition to Missions Education, many Local, North American, and International mission opportunities exist.

WMU hosts the church-wide International Missions Weekend, promotes the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions and the Margaret Lackey State Offering.

Contact our staff and ask how you can get involved.
