Our 2020 mission trips give First Baptist Jackson members opportunities to share the Gospel in places as close as New Orleans, as remote as Botswana, and many points in between. To learn more about any of these trips, complete the form below and team leaders will contact you with information.
MISSION TRIPS 2020
Participants (mostly college students) partnered with Hispanola Mountain Ministry missionaries and local believers to do construction, human needs, and evangelistic work in selected communities in the Dominican Republic.

February 27-March 7
Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, Japan
The participants will explore possible partnerships and ministry opportunities in Japan. Our particular interest (as FBJ) is the possibility of partnering with Charlie and Teresa Seelen in Osaka, Japan.
Central Asia (Location #2)
Participants will partner with IMB workers and International Baptist Church to do disciple-making training, refugee relief work, evangelistic outreach. The goal of the trip is to both conduct ministry and to determine the possibilities for future ministry in the host city.
Participants will partner with local believers to do evangelistic outreach in the village of D’Kar, with the goal of creating a group of disciples who will grow into a viable indigenous church.
Participant (from FBJ Women’s Ministry) will partner with Baptists in Calgary, Canada to explore possibilities for future women’s ministry in Calgary.
Participants will partner with Ashley Austin and other members of Canvas Church to conduct a creative arts camp for local children and adolescents.

Participants (from FBJ Women’s Ministry) will partner with Baptists among the Hmong people group in Minnesota and Wisconsin, to conduct the Acteens Conference for their region.
Participants (from FBJ Women’s Ministry) will partner with Global Maritime Ministry to assist in conducting the annual Global Fest and to do evangelistic and humanitarian work among seafarers in the port of New Orleans.
Participants will partner with the Canadian Baptist Seminary to do ministry among Seminary wives and student
wives, as well as other minister in connection with a local Baptist church.
Partner with IMB missionaries to serve two Thanksgiving meals for local residents, providing a time to explain the Christian origins of the holiday as well as the Gospel message for people today

Participants (mostly college students) will partner with NAMB missionaries and local believers to do evangelistic outreach in Portland.
June 1-July 31
Participants will partner with Wycliff Bible Translators missionaries and local believers to do medical clinics and evangelistic outreach among the Quechua people group.
