Living the Dream

While sleeping tonight you have a God sent vision; would you recognize it as such? Would you take it as a sign or fluff it off as a potent dream to be pondered later? Thank goodness Joseph followed through on his vision. But, I think God already knew he would. Can God count on us to follow where He leads?

Who knew Joseph’s and Mary’s journey would save a people? God did!
Who knew this one step toward Bethlehem would lead to heaven? God did!
Who knew a manger’s lullaby could soothe the brow of a king? God did!
Who knew an innocent child would take on a sinful worlds fate? God did!
Who knew a bright eastern star could point to a Devine Savior? God did!
Who knew a three-year lesson would lead to a cruel, lonely cross? God did!
Who knew that an empty tomb would give the gift of life eternal? God did!
Who knew living the dream would make the difference for you and me? God did!
God did. God does. God always will!

“…But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, ‘Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit’.” (Matthew 1:20 Proverbs 8:33)

Father of the universe and all creation, give us courage to follow Your paths and a willing heart to be Your vessels for implementing Your plans. Amen
