Because First Baptist Jackson is a multigenerational church with members and attendees from across central Mississippi, we feel an obligation to you and our community to take every precaution possible. While that doesn’t mean we should take a break from community, it does mean that we can continue to experience times together digitally thanks to technology platforms.
This Sunday, June 21, 2020, First Baptist Jackson will resume in-person services. We are looking forward to welcoming you back on campus, but as you may expect, things will be a little different.
We will have three services on Sunday: 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:00 a.m. The services will have limited capacity and registrations are requested. To learn more about our plans and what we are doing for the safety of our members, please visit the link below.
For those who are more comfortable worshiping from home at this time, we will continue to livestream our services at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
We also have two weekly television broadcasts on Sundays: on WDBD FOX40 at 8:00 a.m. or WLOO at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
You can click here to see where these stations may be located on your local cable or satellite provider. These broadcasts are a week delayed, but still allow the FBJ family to worship together.
All weekly activities including Bible Studies, Mom’s Day Out, Preschool, Kids, Student, and College, and Music Ministry activities are canceled for this coming week and the foreseeable future. If you have any questions, please contact the church office or the ministry area directly.
SUNDAY SCHOOL, LIFE GROUPS, AND SMALL GROUPS
We discourage our church groups from meeting in person; rather we ask that the leaders of these groups utilize technology to remotely connect on a regular basis. Please contact your group leader for more information. For information related to Life Stage ministries (Preschool, Kids, Students, and College) please contact the Family Ministry office.
We are blessed to have a faithful family here at FBJ that includes some outstanding medical professionals. In conjunction with a medical advisory team and recommendations from the Mississippi Department of Health, we will evaluate our activities week by week to ensure the safety and health of all people who visit our campus each week.
