The event will feature a 5K Run\, 5K Walk\, and Joy Run for kids\, all on a new race course this year. \nThe 5K Run and 5K Walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the Joy Run beginning at 8:30 a.m. This year\, the race will start on President Street between the sanctuary and the Capitol. The Joy Run will run around the Capitol building. Activities will be available for the kids on the Capitol grounds with inflatables\, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt after the races are completed. \nThis year\, we will be honoring Dr. Lee Cope. She has a particular interest in medical student and resident education and mentorship. She joined the Internal Medicine residency program as an Associate Program Director in 2017\, and she also serves as the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs in the School of Medicine since 2019. \nShe is active in undergraduate medical education where she serves as co-course director for the “M3 Transition to the Clinical Learning Environment” course. At the graduate medical education level\, she is co-director of the clinician educator track within the Internal Medicine residency program. \nHer most important job and greatest gift in life is being a wife and mother. DESCRIPTION:Find comfort and healing each week with this divorce recovery support group. Come here to find a caring group of people who will walk alongside you through such a difficult season. \nThis 13-weeks of classes that will follow the church’s normal mid-week schedule from 6:00 to 7:30. Each session stands on its own\, and it is not necessary to attend all sessions. \nA meal is available ($5/person) from 4:45 – 5:45 pm in Fellowship Hall East. Activities for Preschoolers\, Kids\, and Students are available\, as well as childcare (reservations appreciated).
