WOMEN

The mission of the FBJ Women’s Ministry is to encourage, enable, equip, and engage women to discover and live out their God-given purpose through involvement in His Kingdom work. Our goal is to be a Bible-teaching, groups-based, multi-generational, missional ministry of First Baptist Jackson.

Grace Bible Study

Wednesdays, beginning February 7
10:00 a.m. – Noon
CLC DIning Room

This spring Grace Bible Study will use God of Creation: A Study of Genesis 1–11 by Jen Wilkin. Women are invited to join as we grow our faith through God’s Word and enjoy fellowship with other women.

About the Study
The opening chapters of Genesis teach us fundamental truths about God. We watch Him bring light after darkness, order after chaos, and rest after toil—all through the power of His Word.

Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse study, dive into Genesis 1-11 by following three critical stages of understanding: comprehension, interpretation, and application. Revisit familiar stories and historical figures, challenge your basic knowledge, and discover deeper meanings in the text. As God reveals Himself through Scripture, we can only begin to understand ourselves when we first glimpse the character, attributes, and promises of our Creator.

Moms Reset

March 7
6:00 p.m.
Fellowship Hall West
Moms Reset is a time to nurture moms of preschoolers, kids, and students; to nurture relationships between young moms and seasoned moms; to let moms be nurtured in God's Word and in Christian fellowship with encouraging friends; and to discover the ways for them and their children to nourish their souls at FBJ.

This time will include relevant in-depth Bible study led by one of our outstanding FBJ Women teachers. We will explore the I AM statements of Jesus found in the Gospel of John. There will also be a brief time of worship music and small groups discussion with a seasoned FBJ woman.
